ShiokDeal.com may change the Terms of Use and/or our Privacy Policy from time to time and at any time, and without actual notice to you. All such changes to these Terms of Use will appear on ShiokDeal.com. If we make changes to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy and you continue to use our Site, you are impliedly agreeing to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy expressed herein.

The Site may be unavailable from time to time for any reason. You understand and acknowledge that due to circumstances both within and outside of the control of ShiokDeal.com access to the Site may be interrupted, suspended or terminated from time to time. ShiokDeal.com shall have the right at any time to change or discontinue any aspect or feature of ShiokDeal.com.

You and we are independent contracts, and nothing in these Terms of Use creates a partnership, employment relationship or agency. There are no third-party beneficiaries of these Terms of Use. You may not assign these Terms of Use, in whole or in part, to any third party without our prior, written consent, and any attempt by you to do so will be invalid. Should any part of these Terms of Use be held invalid or unenforceable, that portion will be construed consistent with applicable law and the remaining portions will remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms of Use will not be considered a waiver of the right to enforce such provision. Our rights under these Terms of Use will survive any termination of these Terms of Use.

These Terms of Use, together with the Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published by ShiokDeal.com on ShiokDeal.com, shall constitute the entire agreement between you and ShiokDeal.com concerning ShiokDeal.com.

YOU AND SHIOKDEAL.COM AGREE THAT ANY CAUSE OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO SHIOKDEAL.COM MUST COMMENCE WITHIN ONE (1) YEAR AFTER THE CAUSE OF ACTION ACCRUES. OTHERWISE, SUCH CAUSE OF ACTIONIS PERMANENTLY BARRED.

You are legally able to accept these Terms of Use. You affirm that you are either more than 18 years of age, or an emancipated minor, or possess legal parental or guardian consent, and are fully able and competent to enter into the terms, conditions, obligations, affirmations, representations, and warranties set forth in these Terms of Use, and to abide by and comply with these Terms of Use.

General Rules of User Conduct

We aim to make the use of our Site a positive experience for all of our Users, so we require that User restrict any and all activity in connection with the use of this Site to that which involves lawful purposes only. User shall not post or transmit through this Site any material which violates or infringes in any way upon the rights of others, or any material which is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortuous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another’s privacy or publicity rights, hateful, orracially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable, which encourages conduct that would constitute a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any law, or which, without ShiokDeal.com's express prior, written approval, contains advertising or any solicitation with respect to any products or services. Any conduct by a User that in ShiokDeal.com's exclusive discretion restricts or inhibits any other User from using or enjoying this Site is strictly prohibited. User agrees not to attempt to reverse engineer or jeopardize the correct functioning of the Site, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the software (including the tools, methods, processes, and infrastructure) that enables or underlies the Site. User must not upload or transmit any form of virus, worm, Trojan horse, or other malicious code.

You acknowledge and agree that ShiokDeal.com may preserve information and content and may also disclose information and content if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such preservation or disclosure is reasonably necessary to: (a) comply with legal process; (b) enforce these Terms of Use; (c) respond to claims that any information or content violates the rights of third-parties; or (d) protect the rights, property, or personal safety of ShiokDeal.com, its users or the public.

The foregoing provisions of this section apply equally to and are for the benefit of ShiokDeal.com, its subsidiaries, affiliates and its third party content providers and licensors, and each shall have the right to assert and enforce such provisions directly or on its own behalf.

ShiokDeal.com’s Proprietary Rights

All materials contained in this Site, including, but not limited to images, illustrations, audio clips, and video clips, are the copyrighted property of ShiokDeal.com or by other parties that have licensed their material to ShiokDeal.com. As between ShiokDeal.com and you, ShiokDeal.com is the sole owner of all content on the Site, including without limitation, all applicable copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets, and other intellectually property rights thereto. Any copying, reproducing, distributing, transmitting, posting, linking, deep linking, or otherwise modifying of this site without the express written permission of ShiokDeal.com is strictly prohibited. Modification of the materials or use of the materials for any other purpose is a violation of the copyrights and other proprietary rights. For purposes of these Terms of Use, the use of any such material on any other web site or networked computer environment is prohibited.

Returns and Refunds

Once you purchase a voucher/s for a deal from Shiokdeal, the purchase is final and binding. You are *not * entitled to any returns or refunds.

In case shiokdeal decides to process a refund for you, you will be requested to follow the below mentioned steps:

Please note that to cancel your purchase and request for refund please email us at customercare@shiokdeal.com.

There will be an administrative fee of 10% of coupon value or SGD$2(whichever is higher)/per couponto issue a refund. However if you want to avoid the administrative charges, you can opt for your refund in shiokdeal Credits. 

Any refunds or returns administered after a voucher/s  is purchased will be solely on discretion of shiokdeal.

Terms of Sale

ShiokDeal.com provides consumers with opportunities to experience products and services from local businesses at a discount (a “Deal”).

By placing an order for a given Deal, you make an offer to ShiokDeal.com to purchase the Deals you have selected on the terms, restrictions and conditions associated with the Deal (such as the Key Details), subject to the initial requirements for that Deal being met. The Deal is not yours until we notify you via email that the requisite initial requirements (such as the minimum number \of people have signed up) have been met for a given Deal. The Coupon you purchase is redeemable for goods or services by the seller of such goods and services, hereinafter defined as "Merchant." The Merchant, not ShiokDeal.com,is the seller of the goods and services and is solely responsible for redeeming any Coupon you purchase. ShiokDeal.com sells a Coupon that can be redeemed in connection with your purchase of the goods or services from Merchant.

You are required to create an account in order to purchase any Deal. This is required so we can provide you with easy access to print your Deals, view your past purchases, view your referral credits earned, modify your preferences, and to ensure permissible use of the Deal.

In addition the following rules apply to all Deals:

-- Merchant Deals may be applied only to merchandise sold by Merchant, and may not be applied to GST,service charges, shipping or handling charges unless otherwise noted.

-- No cash value for any Merchant Deal.

-- No cash back upon redemption or at any other time.

-- The issuing of credit is at the sole discretion of the Merchant unless otherwise required by law.

-- If you redeem the Coupon for less than its face value, you will not be entitled to a credit, cash or new Coupon equal to the difference between the face value and the amount you redeemed, unless otherwise required by law. For example, if you paid $20 for Coupon which entitles you to purchase $50 of product and you make a purchase for $40, you will not be entitled to a credit or cash equal to the difference between the $50 face value and the amount you redeemed. You will not have any redemption value.

-- Neither the seller nor the Merchant is responsible for lost or stolen Coupon or Coupon's unique reference number.

-- Coupon cannot be combined with any other gift certificates, third party certificates, coupons, or promotions.

-- Reproduction, sale or trade of this certificate is prohibited unless done so in compliance with the law.

-- The Coupon expires on the date specified on the Coupon, except that the Merchant may continue toredeem the unused cash value you paid for the Coupon (which is usually less than the original face value of the Coupon to the extent required by applicable law).

-- Any attempted redemption not consistent with these terms and conditions will render theCoupon null and void to the extent prohibited by law.

-- Other restrictions may be noted within the Deal.

The Merchant shall be fully responsible for any and all injuries, illnesses, damages, claims, liabilities and costs suffered by or in respect of a customer, caused in whole or in part by the Merchant, as well as for any unclaimed property liability arising from unredeemed Coupons. Merchant Deals are redeemable in their entirety only and may not be redeemed incrementally.

Linked Sites

You may be able to link to third parties' Web Sites ("Linked Sites") from the ShiokDeal.com Site. Linked Sites are not, however, reviewed, controlled, or examined by ShiokDeal.com in anyway and ShiokDeal.com is not responsible for the content, availability, advertising, products or other materials of any such Linked Sites, or any additional links contained therein. These links do not imply ShiokDeal.com’s endorsement of or association with the Linked Sites. It is your sole responsibility to comply with the appropriate terms of service of the Linked Sites as well as with any other obligation under copyright, secrecy, defamation, decency, privacy, security and export laws related to the use of such Linked Sites and any content contained there on. In no event shall ShiokDeal.com be liable, directly or indirectly, to anyone for any loss or damage arising from or occasioned by the creation or use of the Linked Sites or the information or material accessed-through these Linked Sites. You should direct any concerns to that site's administrator or webmaster. Invitation Rebate

Users inviting themselves will not be eligible for invitation rebate. Invitations where the IP address of person sending the invitation and person accepting the invitation is same, will automatically be disqualified from receiving invitation rebate. All invitations regarding, promotions/giveaways/lucky draws/contests/sweepstakes , will not be eligible for invitation rebate. For all those referrals where our system or staff determines the invitation to be invalid, no rebate wil be given, shiokdeal's decision will be final and binding.

Termination

We may change or discontinue the Site at any time without prior notice. We reserve the right to terminate these Terms of Use at our election and for any reason, without prior notice, and these Terms of Use will automatically terminate in the event that you violate any of the terms and conditions set forth below. In the event of any termination, you will immediately cease access to the Site.
